Time to celebrate Christmas, then the Ski World Cup will be back. It’s back with one of its most exciting events, the Men’s World Cup one in Bormio. It’s a difficult DH race which is back to the world circuit after 3 years, and it’s a real challenge for the jet men just a month from the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. This is the program of the events in Bormio.
MONDAY December 25 – Teams arrive in Bormio
TUESDAY December 26 – 11.30am First Official DH training
WEDNESDAY December 27
- 11.30am Second Official DH training
- 6pm Bib draw in Piazza Cavour
THURSDAY December 28 – 11.45am Men’s DH race and awards ceremony
FRIDAY December 29
- 11.30am Alpine Combined (DH)
- 3pm Alpine Combined (SL) (track traced by Joris, Svi) and award ceremony

WEDNESDAY December 27 – 6pm parade, autographs and selfies with the athletes in Piazza Cavour
THURSDAY December 28
- 5pm at the ski stadium: Vitalini Speed contest (DH race for youngsters only)
- 5pm Mulled wine championship in the historic center and Piazza Cavour
- At the Public Village (via Vallecetta), Levissima stand there’ll be a climbing event from 9.30am to 6.30pm.
