Bormio offers not only the emotion of a live event of pure adrenaline but also a series of music, cultural and food & wine events to complete a programme that is already full of emotions.
The first event is the first official training on Thursday, December 27 at 11.45 am, followed by the second official training on Friday, December 28 (same time.)
On Friday, December 28 from 4 pm at Via Roma, Piazza S. Vitale, Piazza del Credito Valtellinese and Piazza del Kuerc will be enlightened by the presence of street artists and philharmonic societies and their songs and melodies. Enjoy outdoor video screenings and music, the “Showcasing Wooden Skis” exhibition and the entertainment with local food & wine products while waiting for the parade and the bib draw to start from 6 pm at Piazza del Kuerc. This is a unique opportunity to meet the “Azzurri” and the world’s fastest racers in an emotional situation, also because it will be accompanied by the Bajona bells, one of the symbols of Bormio.
The downhill race takes place on Saturday, December 29 at 11.45 am and will be preceded by a spectacular alpine dancing with vintage clothing and skis starting at 11 am, and followed by a food & wine entertainment at the ski stadium, while waiting for the pure adrenaline to enlighten Stelvio slope!
