Description of the Hike:
Starting at the parking of the Rifugio Berni at an altitude of 2.541 metres, you take, just before the Gavia Pass, directly opposite the mountain lodge, the path number 42 up to the morain of the glacier Dosegù. At a level of 2.768 metres, after about 1,5 hours, you arrive at a bifurcation, where you take a left, crossing the debris field and the crest. Walk along a snowfield of the peak Val Umbrina to arrive at the Bivacco Battaglione Ortles (3.120 m).

Descend the same path (about 2 hours).
